Chimi lhakhang in Punakha is famous as fertility temple. Parents, who are trying to conceive, are coming here to be empowered by the blessing of wooden phallus effigy of divine madman Drukpa Künley.

Blessing ceremony is usually arranged in early morning. Handful of small monks will be reciting prayers and head monk will perform ritual and will bless both perspective parents with phallic effigy. Lady will also carry large wooden phallus three time around the temple.

While success can't be guaranteed, reportedly many foreigners, who did try to conceive child for year, were finally successful after the ceremony was conducted.
