Local shamans called jhankris are called upon by local people to perform healing rituals. Jhankris are believed to posses powers to subdue evil spirits which are seen as the root of all ailments. The ceremony consist of various offerings, continuous drumming and singing. Quite unforgettable.

Please mind, that ceremony can only be organized for the tourist visitors to tackle some actual sickness or ailment. Shamans don't perform their ritual for healthy people just for curiosity, but actual reason has to be present.
