Festivals & Events in Bhutan

Lomba is observed as a new year and an agricultural festival by the communities of Haa and Paro valleys in Western Bhutan. The special dumpling dish called hontey is made on this occasion. The families get together to observe the new year and also exchange gifts of hontey.
