# Itinerary Program
1 Arrival to Kathmandu Arrive in Nepal from Bhutan or another destination and transfer to accommodation at Kathmandu’s Thamel, the touristic hub of the country. ➜ Later explore the narrow and bustling streets dotted with eateries, quality restaurants, and trekking and souvenir shops, having virtually every facility trekkers and travelers need. ➜ The sightseeing program is subject to arrival time. 
2 Kathmandu In the morning, a renowned mountain flight is optionally available for an additional fee. The one-hour excursion offers spectacular views of majestic peaks such as Mt. Everest, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and Lhotse, as well as other lesser mountains. You will have the opportunity to visit the cockpit and receive assistance from a flight attendant in identifying the various mountains. ➜ Head on a short drive towards Swayambhunath Stupa, renowned as the “Monkey Temple” set high on a hill in the southwestern part of the valley providing panoramic views. Explore the stunning landmarks and unique curio shops around. ➜ Following the descending stairs reach the Buddha Chowk, where you can see the statues of Guru Padmasambhava, Avalokiteshwara, and Manjushree, altogether called “protectors of wisdom” ➜ Later head towards Kathmandu Durbar Square, the cultural hub. Here discover, ancient architecture, temples, palaces, and the living goddess Kumari house (and see her if you're lucky). ➜  Finish the day, with a rickshaw ride back to your hotel in Thamel traversing across the narrow busy roads of the valley.
3 Kathmandu Early morning visit, the holy Pashupatinath temple, considered by Hindus as the most divine place in Nepal. The temple is nestled on the banks of the holy Bagmati River surrounded by several ancient monuments and landmarks. The main temple is off-limits for non-Hindus, but the tourist can see the cremation of the deceased and mingle with numerous Hindu hermits who live on the temple premises. ➜ Proceed towards Boudhanath Stupa, a 36 meters high massive white dome-shaped structure, adorned with prayer flags, intricate carvings, and colorful prayer wheels, nestled on the historical trade route to Tibet.  Make a “kora”, the roundabout of the Stupa, and visit gompas, monasteries, shops, and cafés in the surrounding mostly inhabited by Tibetan refugees and indigenous Nepali highlanders who profess the Tibetan branch of Buddhism. ➜ In the afternoon visit the city of Patan, dubbed the “City of Art”. Here unfold myths and legends. Witness the superb examples of Newari architecture by visiting various temples and monasteries called “vihara”. ➜ Start with the exploring of the former king's palace which hosts one of the best museums in South Asia. ➜ Later follow the narrow bustling streets to the Golden Temple, serving as local Buddhist monastery. ➜  Continue to Shree Bangalamukhi Temple, the stunning pagoda dedicated to the gods Shiva and Parvati. ➜ If time permits, you can also include Uku Bahal, and Mahaboudha Temples known for exquisite sculptural decorations. ➜ There after head back to your accommodation and conclude your stay by attending a special Nepali dinner with traditional dances.
4 Kathmandu – Bhaktapur For today, you will be staying at Bhaktapur, the “City of Devotees” perched on the eastern end of the valley some 30-minute drive from the airport. The region is known as a living museum where one can easily witness the traditional life of the locals. ➜ Explore the labyrinth of streets and visit well-preserved landmarks including the 55 window palace, the highest pagoda-styled temple Nyatapola. ➜ Visit the famous pottery square and see how the various ceramic products are still being manufactured here. ➜ Walk to Dattatreya Square and see the famous peacock window. ➜ Also visit a unique hand-paper factory with a lot of marvelous artistic prints and other handicraft products. ➜ Immerse yourself in the town's unparalleled vibe.
5 Kathmandu – Pokhara by flight, sightseeing Today catch an early morning flight to Pokhara. ➜ Along the flight witness grand views of the snowcapped mountain range and lush never ending rows of green rolling hills. ➜ Upon reaching Pokhara head towards your accommodation.➜ After a brief rest explore the wonders of Pokhara. ➜ Visit Devi's Falls, a grand waterfall, and the adjacent Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave. ➜  Then after lunch head on a scenic boat ride across the waters of Phewa Lake.➜ Thereafter visit the Tal Barahi Temple set on a small island in the middle of the lake. ➜ In the afternoon stroll around the banks of Phewa Lake and soak in the atmosphere of the town.
6 Pokhara sightseeing – evening transfer to Bandipur Wake up before dawn and proceed on a short drive to Sarangkot, a renowned vantage point of the region. ➜ From the vantage point witness grand views of the sun rising over the peaks of the Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manaslu. Also witness views of the valley and Phewa Lake.➜ Next head to your hotel for breakfast. ➜ Thereafter proceed towards the Mountaineering Museum and learn about the different cultures of Nepal and get insight into the geology, flora, and fauna of the Himalayas. ➜ Later move towards the ancient town of Bandipur, surrounded by its well-preserved main street. ➜ In the afternoon proceed on a short hike towards Thani Mai temple to witness the splendid views of the sun setting.
7 Bandipur – Kathmandu, drive Via Manakamana After breakfast leave Bandipur and proceed towards Kurintar perched on the banks of the mighty Trishuli river. ➜ From Kurintar advance on a scenic cable car ride towards the Manakamana Temple nestled on a hilltop. ➜ Dedicated to goddess Bhagwati, the temple is believed to grants wishes to its devotees. ➜ Explore the temple complex and observe the pilgrims performing rituals and conducting prayers. ➜ After exploring head back to Kurintar followed by a lunch. ➜ Thereafter continue your journey back to Kathmandu.
8 Departure from Kathmandu Drop at the airport and depart from Nepal to Bhutan, Tibet, Delhi, or other destinations.
