Festivals & Events in Bhutan

The festival dedicated to Balack Neck Cranes, holy birds which spends winter in Phobjika valley was created to celebrate birds' arrival from Tibet and also to spread awareness about the nature conservation. Although it's not traditional festival, it retains many features of typical "Tshechu".
