Festivals & Events in Bhutan

Festival celebrated by Tamang, Yolmo and Sherpa people, Tibetan Buddhist communities originally from Nepal. Lhosar means New Year celebration, but it's different from normal Bhutanese Lhosar and most of the other festivals in Bhutan.

Festival program will include:

• Dzongkha dance old and new
• Sharchop dance eastern Bhutan
• Tamang dance including Damphu Selos
• Ethnic cultural dances and songs from Rai, Limbu, sherpa, Maggar, Chetris and Bauns.
• Tibetan dance
• Nepali dance
• Traditional Bhutanese cultural programs
