The Folk Heritage Museum under the Tarayana Foundation in collaboration with Trongsa Dzongkhag Administraion and Yangphel Adventure Travel through financial support from Tribal Trust Foundation (USA) and TCB is organizing the Monpa Day in Jangbi village under Langthil Gewog in Trongsa on 10th December 2019. The purpose of the Monpa Day is to revive the true culture and traditions of the Monpas that have been preserved for ages. Through their costumes, dances, music and food, the festival will showcase the unity, strength, culture, and traditions of the Monpas. Please find few pictures typical to Monpa festival.
