The festival is held in Tangsibi Tashiling Lhakhang in Tangsibi village in Ura geowg in Bumthang. The festival roots back to the Tibetan Treasure discoverer (Terton) Sherab Mebar, who visited Bhutan and settled at the site. The festival is believed to bring peace and prosperity to the entire community.
