We contacted Firefox a litter under two months before our intended travel date, which isn't a lot of time to plan a trip to Bhutan. But Michal, who coordinated and planned our itinerary, was responsive and helpful from the start and managed to put everything together. On top of planning Bhutan, he also connected us with a tour operator in Nepal and incorporated it into our overall itinerary. It's also worth noting that Firefox's tours are fully customizable, from activities to accommodations, which makes a real difference and is something any prospective traveler should know going in.
We traveled in March and our guide Adhikari and driver Mr. Om made our trip. Adhi cares about his clients and made sure we were always taken care of. More than that, he's passionate about Bhutan, its history, its people, and its culture. Mr. Om was kind and considerate throughout, and we felt genuinely lucky to have been paired with both of them. They were the best possible representation of Bhutan and its people, and they're a huge reason this trip became something we'll never forget.
We also had the pleasure of meeting Dawa, co-owner of Firefox, who attended our Bhutanese wedding ceremony. Eating and drinking together with him was a highlight we didn't expect, and it made the whole experience feel personal in the best way.
By the end of the week, we were genuinely sad to leave. A piece of our hearts stayed in Bhutan. Thank you to everyone at Firefox for an incredible experience we can't recommend them enough.
