Better than talk about ouselves, we rather let our guests speak on our behalf. Read below what people says about the experience they made going on tour with us!
My trip from 16th to 22nd September was nice, an adventure I really wanted to experience!
I enjoyed the nature, the landscape, the beautiful views, the snow mountains, all so beautiful! Food, very nice and tasty! Nice clear ice water rivers, blue skies. I could take many nice pictures. I enjoyed the temperature, the weather, and the cool nights.
Altogether, a great experience, especially also the Bhutan culture and people.
Firefox Tours guide and team were good, made good suggestions, gave good explanations.
Thanks to you and your Company, I had a good time!
Right after arrival to Paro airport, we got literally enchanted by Bhutan. After six visits of Nepal and other Himalayan countries, we were pleasantly surprised how different Bhutan is. So we're just planning our second visit!
The Jomolhari trek provided a wonderful trip to Bhutan. The scenery on the trails and and campsite were everything I'd dreamed the Himalayas to be. Our guide, drivers, cook and staff provided excellent support. The hotels were lovely. The hikes to several monasteries were amazing, informative and beautiful. I loved the lesser visited hikes and monasteries. They were just as amazing as Tigers Nest with far less tourists. The people are kind and the towns were wonderful. I highly recommend Firefox Tours without reservation. I hope to visit Bhutan again. I will be certain to use Firefox.
I would like to say very thank you for the wonderful days in Bhutan. The Tour was perfect, with nice hotels and good meals. Congratulations for your team: Tek is a nice and gentle guide and Om an excellent driver. I hope to come back in Bhutan soon and I will talk about to my friends.
I would like to thank FIREFOX TOURS, especially our guide Adhikari and driver Dorji for a job well done. Adhikari was professional, personable and knowledgeable. The highlight was undoubtedly the hike to the Tiger’s Nest. I was able to pack in a lot of sightseeing in the Thimphu area during the short 3-day tour and plan to return some day to spend more time in the beautiful country of Bhutan. Thank you Firefox Tours!
Overall my wife and I had a great time in Bhutan. We find lodging and food at various locations both comfortable and tasty. We really enjoyed Tek and Om being our guide and driver. Tek is a wealth of knowledge, Om, not much of a talker, is a fantastic driver that got us to Phobjikha Valley and back safely. The highlight of our trip was definitely time spent in Phobjikha and Bumdra Trek. The farm host family was very gracious and attentive to our needs. The setup was modest, but we felt comfortable and well looked after. Thanks again for a wonderful, well thought out trip!
My husband and I had a wonderful tour of Western Bhutan with our excellent guide Nima and driver Suraj. Michal responded quickly to all my enquiries and together we came up with an itinerary that fit our travel dates and included everything I wanted to see. And we did see it all - including dzongs, monasteries, stupas, beautiful scenery, archery contests, darts games, markets, rice harvest, takin, yak herds, and even a festival (Dechenphu tshechu) where the 5th King, Queen and Crown Prince unexpectedly showed up to enjoy the performances.
At the end of October we undertaken 10 days tour named Best of Western Bhutan & Dagala Thousand Lakes Trek. Michal Thoma tailor-made this trip based on few e-mails and phone calls. We can honestly say, that the tour from the beginning till the end was success – all including weather, guide and drivers. Bhutan exceeded our expectation in everything. Kind people, gorgeous mountains, beautiful monuments, delicious food and astounding peace. A different world a little bit.
Coming from Nepal (have you already been there?) we were very impressed about the lovely country – especially the high standard of living ( so much forest, clear air, cleaned water, no plastic-bags, wifi, electricity, good roads etc.) Our guide told us a lot about Buddhism, explained the temples, customs, the people and was so proud of the government.
The program was a good mixture between sightseeing and walking. We both enjoyed very much the visit of the NGO Draktsho Vocational Training Center. Eventually I can organise a connection to a similar organisation in my country.
7 days isn't a long time, but we could take a lot of impressions with us and went back very satisfied. With our guide Nidup and our driver Gordon we had a very warm relation. We felt totally welcome and good guided. We were free to ask for little changes, for example, when the 2nd overnight stay in a farmhouse was not so satisfying. Nidup an his CEO found immediately a good solution.
On the first day our guide told us "I feel happy if you are happy" and he told really the truth!
