Flight schedule

Flight can be arranged any time during the day, but early morning is recommended due to better visibility.

07:00 Arrival to airport and waiting for flight clearance.
07:30 Take off and flight above Kyichu lhakhang and along the Tiger's Nest to Drukyel Dzong. In clear weather you might glimpse peaks of Jomolhari  (7326 m) to the north and Kangchenjunga (8586 m) to the east. Continue flight above the Drukyel dzong to Shana. Jomolhari mountain and other surrounding peaks will become more and more clearly visible.
07:55 20 minutes landing in Jangothang campsite which is famous a one of the most scenic places in Himalayas. Ruins of old temple or fortress with Jomolhari massive at the back is the snap to take from here.
08:15 Take off from Jangothang and crossing over the Nyile pass with views of Jomolhari, Jiychu Drakye and Tserim Kang peaks. We will fly above Lingshi dzong, the castle-monastery which used to protect Bhutan against Tibetans. Mountain views will get even more scenic when you see Great Tiger Mountain on the north.
08:40 Turning back and flight back to Paro.
09:20 Landing in Paro.
