| 1 | Arrival to Paro |
Arrival by plane to Paro airport and drive to hotel. After accommodation, you can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the Theahouse with its extensive library or order massage or other spa treatment provided by hotel. If you feel to explore some surroundings, you can drive to town and pay a visit to Rinpung dzong, the castle in which Little Buddha film was shot. Overnight in Zhiwa Ling Heritage ★★★★★

| 2 | Paro, excursion to Thimphu |
Today's program is optional and can be adjusted. We will undertake one and half hour drive to Thimphu, capital of Bhutan. See the Buddha point, gigantic statue with great view of Thimphu town. Observe devotees paying tribute to 3rd king of Bhutan at the Memorial chorten. Enjoy lunch in one of the luxurious hotel restaurants and walk in Norzin lam street and see the traffic police signaling in junctions. Thimphu is only capital in the world without the traffic lights. Finish walk at handicraft market where many interesting Bhutanese souvenirs can be seen and bought for reasonable price. Drive back to Paro and relax. Overnight in Zhiwa Ling Heritage ★★★★★

| 3 | Paro | In the morning we will start hike to Taktsang gomba (Tiger’s Nest). This is the highlight of the tour. While the hike seems to be hard, it’s very rewarding. If you don’t feel so strong, you can climb just halfway to cafeteria with nice view of the place. The round trip takes 4-5 hours including the sightseeing in the monastery temples. If you are not in the mood for hiking, you can drive to Chele-la pass (3850m), the highest motorable pass in Bhutan. In clear weather you can see holy Jomolhari peak and Kanchenjunga form there. Walk in the forest of prayer flags in the top. The rest day in leisure or optionally visit Paro town for shopping and entertainment. Overnight in Zhiwa Ling Heritage ★★★★★ |
