From the moment we were greeted by Phurba and Om at the Airport to them dropping us off the organization, guiding and accommodation were excellent, and we felt very well looked after. It was definitely a perfect example of the high value low impact approach to tourism. We enjoyed our stay in Bhutan very much and were truly excited to discover the culture and history of this hidden Kingdom, visiting forts and temples, bridges and museums, driving through mountain passes and absorbing the energy of the surrounding nature. The highlight of the tour was undoubtedly the Taktsang Monastery on our last day, and we were lucky enough to have the perfect weather too. We even caught a glimpse of Mount Everest from our plane flying out of Paro!
